Community Pharmacy: Rotas and Collection Information

Changes to Community Pharmacy Rota in Northern Area

Following consultation with the Community/Voluntary and Elected Representatives Engagement Forum, the following change will be implemented in the Northern area:

The Sunday & Public Holiday rotas will cease in Carrickfergus effective from Easter Sunday (31st March) onwards given the proximity to Newtownabbey. Therefore, the final rota in Carrickfergus will be on Sunday 24th March 2024.

  • We’ve had a service contract imposed on us by MIKE NESBITT – HEALTH MINISTER for NORTHERN IRELAND that is underfunded to the degree that staffing and patient service provision will be at risk and suffer.
  • GP PRACTICES ARE IN CRISIS. WE WORK AS SMALL BUSINESSES
  • OVER 28 GP PRACTICES HAVE CLOSED IN NORTHERN IRELAND SINCE 2018.
  • STAND WITH US – DON’T LET YOUR PRACTICE BE NEXT TO CLOSE!
  • SUPPORT YOUR PRACTICE AND THEIR STAFF IN THESE ACTIONS!
  • REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR NHS DENTAL CARE?
